Q: If I need some packing boxes or other moving accessories, do I have to go someplace to get them?
A: No. Let us know what you need when you call to reserve your MI-BOX®, and we’ll deliver them with the MI-BOX®.
Q: How can I find out if keeping a MI-BOX® at my home or office is allowed?
A: Some homeowners associations and local ordinances limit the amount of time a MI-BOX® can be kept at your site. To be sure, contact your homeowners association and/or local code enforcement agency. Even in cases where limitations exist, allowances are generally made for you to accomplish your move with a MI-BOX® just like with any other mode for moving.
Q: If I fill up my MI-BOX® and need more space, can I get another one quickly?
A: Yes. Please call us as soon as you recognize the need and we’ll schedule a delivery right away.
Q: If I live in a rural area away from the immediate MI-BOX® service area, can I still get a MI-BOX®?
A: In most cases, a MI-BOX® can be delivered to your door. An extra mileage fee will be charged for distance beyond 20 miles from the MI-BOX® location nearest you.
Q: Can I move in a MI-BOX® from one state to another state?
A: We currently are teamed up with a long distance mover, which enables us to move you almost anywhere in the United States.
Q: I like the idea and economy of moving with a MI-BOX®. But, if I don’t want to pack and load myself, will MI-BOX® do it for me?
A: MI-BOX® does not offer packing and loading services but we can refer you to our preferred movers in your area.
Q: Can I have you place a MI-BOX® on the street or in an alley?
A: Yes. You will need to obtain a special permit for placement of a MI-BOX® on any public right of way. Once the permit is obtained you can fax it to your local MI-BOX® location and schedule your delivery.
